EDT's first successes in applying enzyme technologies were in one of the most difficult, highly variable processes within the pulp and paper industry-- wastepaper deinking. EDT has implemented its patented natural enzymatic deinking process, Enzynk®, in recycling mills around the world, helping them reduce dirt counts, increase pulp brightness and reduce costs for chemicals and furnish. EDT's work includes all furnish types, including mixed office waste and newsprint/magazine grades.
