EDT will be an exhibitor and a presenter at PaperWeek Canada 2015, which will be held at the 'Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel' in Montreal, Canada, from February 2-5, 2015. The theme of PaperWeek Canada 2015 will be 'Shaping the Future: People, Process and Innovation,' and the event will offer over 40 sessions of interest to the pulp and paper industry delegates. EDT's General Manager of Tissue Fiber Modification, Bud Chase, will be presenting a paper on the 'Enzymatic Treatment of Fibers.' EDT’s enzyme-based technologies center on a variety of value propositions for the processing of recovered wastepaper for the manufacture of tissue and towel. In particular, EDT will be focusing on strategies employed with client mills to reduce wastepaper cost, enhance fiber yield, control stickies, and reduce total energy costs used in production.
